Fresh Fiction has a great review of SKELETON CREW!

Gritty, raw, and hilarious, SKELETON CREW combines all the best parts of the genre; a flawed hero, lots of action and a cast of fascinating characters on both sides of the battle lines, as well as a set of bad guys that might scare you into a fresh pair of jockey shorts.
