  this cover looks more paranormal romance than kick ass urban fantasy. Having that hair off her face removes some of the mystery. And the pink tones in the letters and lower part of the book… but the skull orb is kinda cool. In short this one doesn’t make her look as much like a hard case. Waiting for the first book to come out it’ll be interesting.

  Hey King, I agree this cover is “prettier.” But it’s really pretty, and the story inside is still ass-kicking urban fantasy!

  (And the color is clearly, like, fuschia or something, not pink. No way that’s pink. Domino doesn’t do pink. Hopefully it will look even more fuschia and less pink when it gets the gloss on matte treatment.)

  I just want to say that I LOVED Skeleton Crew. Usually, I don’t like zombies but I LOVED this book. It had action, magic, action, a little romance, a little mystery, and MORE action!! Just thinking of the general badassness of this book makes me giddy. I can’t wait for the next one.
