Polls about ereaders and ebooks seem to be popping up on the industry blogs (see this and that). Here’s one data point: I purchased a Kindle 2 last spring. Since then, I’ve read more books than in any stretch since I was in school, and all of them have been ebooks. I haven’t regretted a single one of those purchases, because I was able to sample each of them at my leisure ahead of time and make sure it was something I’d enjoy.
I was previously quite skeptical about ebook readers, but I’m converted. It’s just a better way to shop for, store, and yes, even read fiction. I’m a fan. Current read? Vicious Circle, by Mike Carey. Also a fan.Tags: ebooks, Kindle
